Problem Note 46595: Change in PROC PLM's scoring behavior for models that include an offset variable

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Prior to SAS 9.3TS1M2, if the model information from the STORE statement includes an offset variable and PROC PLM is used to score a new data set for which an offset variable is not present, then the SAS Log reports:

NOTE: The OFFSET variable is absent from the scoring data set WORK.xyz. A constant value of 0 is assumed for scoring.

Beginning in SAS 9.3TS1M2 the scoring behavior in PROC PLM will change and will no longer assume a value of zero for the offset variable. PROC PLM will not perform the scoring in this situation.
